If everybody understood this, it would be a different world.

Most human problems can be traced to selfishness, greed, or an egocentrism that leads to concern only for the self and disdane or even hatred for everyone else.

The only solution for these problems that will work is to lead each individual to understand that it is only in doing things for others that our lives have meaning.

Note that Christians do not believe you become a Christian by doing things for others. Christians do things for others because of the life changing experience they have had with Christ and his ideas. The understanding, insight, and belief comes first and that is what makes one a Christian. The doing things for others results from this.

(This is what Christians call salvation. It is personal. It is based on a life changing experience, an insight that gives meaning to an otherwise meaningless life.) (For more information see Becoming a Christian.)
