Slavery Metaphor

Sin is very attractive and lures us away from right living. But sin is like a spider web. You get trapped in it. Drug addiction is a good model of what sin is like. We become slaves of the sin. Christ came to set us free. Christ paid the price. His death on the cross purchased our freedom. All we need to do is accept it and walk away from the sin. Many people never accept it. Even though Christ died for everyone, they stay with their sin, obeying its orders. It is like the slave that won't leave the plantation even though he is free. All we have to do is accept our freedom and leave sin behind. (Galatians 4:1-5). (John 8:34)(Romans 6:6)(Romans 6:15-23)
