Dialogues on Christian Theology

Christian Theology is most frequently dialogued in the words, the actions, and the lives of Christians who are attempting to interpret the message of Christ into their lives.

The Cafe is the social center of the village. It is a cafe with no name. Over the door, a faded sign says "Cafe." Thats all. The cafe is owned and operated by Edna and Eddie Durda who live in the back. There is only one kitchen in the place. They use it for themselves and the cafe. If you come in at supper time, you can order whatever Edna is fixing for supper. They raised two kids in the Cafe. The oldest one is married, the youngest is in college in the city, 25 miles away.

There are two big store front windows in the front, one on each side of the door. Edna used to have curtains that covered the lower half of the windows, but they started looking bad so she took them down. Anyway, she can see out better. The door has a large glass window in it with a metal grating over the lower panes both inside and out. There is a screen door on the outside and she likes to leave the glass door open in the summer.

There is a counter along the right side with red vinyl upholstered stools (the kind that are bolted to the floor and turn). The door to the kitchen is behind the counter and serves as the entrance to the apartment. Between the counter and the window, at the front is an old formica and chrome dinnette set with both leaves in the table. The chrome chairs are upholstered in red vinyl that doesn't match the upholstry of the stools. Several of the chair bottoms have holes and the padding shows. Down the left side are 6 booths. There is no juke box, but Edna has a radio that she turns on sometimes in the afternoons.

Caution: Beyond this point you will encounter earthy language which some may find offensive. If you are offended by rough language please DO NOT follow the links below. Click HERE to back out of the Cafe.
